1. Overview

This website and online store are operated by Brass Ambassador LLC, offering Mastiff™ Mutes and related products. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Brass Ambassador LLC.

These Terms govern your use of brassambassador.com and purchases made directly through our store. Our store is hosted by Shopify.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order. Minors may purchase with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Provide accurate and current contact, billing, shipping, and payment information. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us of unauthorized activity.

If purchasing for a school, ensemble, business, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

3. Products

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, specifications, and prices. Colors may appear different depending on your screen and lighting. Minor surface variations may occur in 3D-printed products as described in the product listing. These variations do not excuse defects or failure to meet the product description.

Fit, resistance, and sound may vary with the instrument and player. Contact us if you have compatibility questions.

Follow any care and use instructions provided. Do not force a mute into an instrument or continue using it if the fit could cause damage.

Changes to product listings do not retroactively change an accepted order without your agreement or a lawful basis.

4. Orders and Payments

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automated order receipt acknowledges receipt of your order; we confirm acceptance through an express acceptance notice or shipment confirmation.

You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the total shown at checkout.

We may decline or cancel orders because of unavailable inventory, suspected fraud, payment problems, material listing errors, or another lawful reason. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will promptly refund the amounts paid for the canceled items, including associated taxes and shipping charges where applicable.

We will not substitute products or increase the price of an accepted order without your consent.

5. Prices and Promotions

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. If we become aware of a material fulfillment delay, we will contact you with available options, including cancellation and a refund where required.

Provide a correct delivery address. If a package is lost, damaged, or marked delivered but cannot be located, contact us promptly. We will work with you and the carrier to investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law.

International duties, import taxes, and related charges are handled as disclosed at checkout. Nothing in these Terms transfers shipping risk contrary to applicable law.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Our Return and Refund Policy governs voluntary returns and cancellation requests.

For standard purchases, you may request a return within 7 calendar days of delivery, subject to that policy’s conditions. Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns. We do not charge a restocking fee.

You may request cancellation within 15 minutes of purchase, provided the order has not shipped. After that period, contact us promptly; we will attempt to accommodate your request before shipment or the start of custom production.

These time limits do not restrict rights concerning defective, misdescribed, or incorrect products or mandatory cancellation and withdrawal rights. Where applicable law provides longer periods or different refund terms, those protections apply.

Purchases through authorized dealers are subject to the dealer’s sales and return policies, without limiting applicable manufacturer obligations or statutory rights.

8. Custom Orders and Special Programs

Specifications, prices, production timelines, and special cancellation or return conditions for custom orders will be disclosed before purchase and confirmed in writing.

Products are not automatically final sale because they are made to order or offered in a particular color. Any final-sale condition must be clearly disclosed before purchase and remains subject to mandatory consumer rights.

Trial programs, artist arrangements, and wholesale purchases require separately disclosed terms. These Terms do not establish participation in those programs.

9. Warranties

We honor applicable product warranties and consumer remedies required by law. Any additional written warranty offered with a product applies according to its disclosed terms.

These Terms do not exclude or restrict implied warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including protections applicable under Kansas consumer protection law.

Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, or improper care is not a manufacturing defect. This does not limit your rights under applicable law.

You retain ownership of content you submit. For content submitted for public posting on our website, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and format it to operate our website and review features. This does not transfer ownership.

We will obtain separate permission before using submitted photographs or videos in advertising unless you have already authorized that use.

We may remove private information, unlawful material, harassment, spam, or content that is clearly false or unrelated. Disagreement with an opinion alone is not a reason for removal.
